Team Away Day - London

12 degrees were approached by a well known Property Development Company to develop an away day for their 140 strong team in London. The lunch venue and afternoon activity had to be something different; fun and the activity stretch individuals beyond their comfort zone.

The days event consisted of a tour of several of their developments, a meeting at the Wren Suite and lunch at a suprise destination, afternoon activity, prize giving and a few drinks in the pub.

As the client company owns, develops and manages many buildings in London, we utilised one floor within one of their prestigous schemes to host a drinks reception, followed by a 3 course lunch for the team.

The participants sat in their teams at lunch for the afternoon activity, with each table being named after a film.

Following desert the Client's Managing Director introduced 12 degrees who in turn introduced the afternoon activity.

In brief the teams were tasked to produce a 30 second commercial trailer , based around the theme allocated and the business subject which they selected at random.

12 degrees provided the teams with:

  • Basket of Props
  • DVD Camera
  • Make up
  • Camera Workshop
  • Acting Workshop

Teams were given 1 hour 30 minutes to plan, rehearse and film their productions.

12 degrees managed and organised:

  • Transport to and from developments/ meetings/ lunch venues
  • AV, requirements
  • Dressing of venue for drinks reception / lunch
  • Drinks reception/ Bar / 3 course Lunch
  • Afternoon activity
  • All equipment hire

The 12 degrees team worked with their client to provide a fun engaging day for the team which was talked about in the office for weeks to come.
