Skandia Cowes Week (2-9th August 2008)
One of the largest annual sporting events in the UK and the largest sailing regatta worldwide attracting over 1000 yachts and 8000 competitors, as well as a huge number of spectators.
It has a very exciting race schedule together with a full social programme ashore throughout the whole week.
Cowes Week racing takes place on the Solent, a challenging stretch of water, with strong tides and the changeable British summer weather ensuring competitive yacht racing.
