The Red Funnel Easter Challenge is the event which marks the start of the sailing season. Primarily a tuning regatta for the forthcoming season, this competitive event allows those taking part to brush the cobwebs off their boats and to put the skill of their crews to the test.
The Red Funnel Easter Challenge is organised by the prestigious Royal Ocean Racing Club with the support of Red Funnel, the regatta consists of a series of short sharp races held over tight Solent course. Courses are set each day depending on the wind and tide conditions.
