Big Boat Sailing Days/ Weekends
A fun and challenging day or weekend out on the water.
Next weekend event available to individuals: 30th May - 1st June 08
The opportunity to take the helm of a round the world ocean racing yacht under the guidance of an experienced skipper & crew.
After a full and thorough safety briefing the individuals/ teams will depart for the Solent for a practical session in learning how to sail.
Clients are encouraged to get involved with:
- All aspects of sailing & navigating the yacht
- Helming
- Tacking
- Gybing
Once the basics have been learnt followed by a practical session, the teams will be given their challenge – following a set course they will be asked to take control of their yacht – to communicate as a team and work as one - reinforcing the skills learnt in earlier sessions.
Exciting, taxing and mentally demanding, this team activity will reveal the group's leaders, team players and communicators.
Remember, it is not always the boss in the office who will take control on the water.
This event is ideal for larger groups of up to 12 people (or multiples of) as part of a Team Development programme or for a fun day out on the water building a team.
