ARC Atlantic Rally for Cruisers
The ARC Yacht Race is a great transatlantic ocean race and a trip of a lifetime. The ARC yacht race starts from Las Palmas De Gran Canaria, and takes you across 2700 miles of ocean on the trade wind route to finish at Rodney Bay St Lucia in the Caribbean.
The ARC is an excellent opportunity to build miles; learn Astro Navigation and practice sight reductions.
The ARC yacht race is the largest Trans Ocean race of its kind in the world taking place in November and typically takes 10-15 days.
A typical race campaign includes:
One weekend training in the UK prior to the Yachts departure
ISAF Sea Survival course
One week of training in Las Palmas before Race Start
Four professional crew
All race fees
Prior experience is preferred but not essential, and average level of fitness, commitment and determination!
